MeltGL experiments

These are the test cases that were used while the solver was being built, in the manner of the figures in the papers this work leans on. Every figure here runs live in this browser. Press Melt under a figure to run it, drag the slider to scrub, or press Reset to put the material back. Panels within a figure share the same source picture and the same clock, so anything that differs between them is the parameter named in the caption.

The material is drawn flat, in one colour, so that nothing in the picture can be mistaken for shading from the solver. Every highlight, rim and shadow you see is computed from the simulated surface. Figures are created when they scroll into view and released when they scroll out, so only the ones you are looking at use the GPU.
